Sizzling Steamboat

Today(27/06/09),Triang Mandarin Lions Club had organised a sizzling steamboat party for Leos who attended MD Leo Forum 308-B1 2009.In fact,Bera Leos had been awarded 27 prizes in the forum and this is a good news for everyone,including Lions.Leos from Smk Triang,Smk Bandar Kerayong and Smk Kemayan had been invited to attend this party.

Besides throwing up with a party,the Leos had discussed about the Leo Installation,this year's Leo Installation will be organised by Leo Club of Smk Bandar Kerayong,and Leo Gan Chia Sin who was the incoming president of Leo Smk Bandar Kerayong had been selected as the Organising Chairman.And Leo Club of Smk Triang will be in charge in the background design and the MC.

This year's installation's theme is "We Are The Champion"and for temporary dicision,we selected 25th of July as the date and the venue might be at Smk Bandar Kerayong's school hall and each school will present two programmes.We are presenting a violin presentation and a drama.

MD Leo Forum 2009

MD Leo Forum 2009 finally ended during the May School Holiday,10 Leos from our school had participated in this Leo annually activities.The participants are at below:

We started our journey to Penang on one day before the forum held,together will others leo from SMK Bandar Kerayong,SMK Hwa Lian and SMK Kemayan.Lion Sherina Chow and Lion Tim Voong had lead us to the destination.

During the first day,we enjoyed the Special Project which was throwing mud balls into the polluted river.Besides,the organizer had prepared a trip for us.After the whole trip,we had transfer back to hotel.We had 1 hour to prepare for our Fellowship Night.This year's theme was Heroes Night.Although none of us had acted it out,but we do enjoy it.

On the next day morning,after breakfast,we had been transfered to Sunshine Hall where all activites held.That day's first activity was opening ceremony.During the opening ceremony,one of the agenda was Banner Presentation,Leo Desmond Lim had presented our school's banner.After it,some of the Lions gave speech and the forum continued with a forum theme talk entitled:Moving Forward...Youth of the New Era.After lunch and the public speaking competition,we continued to 308-B1 Sub-District Forum.This year,we had 9 awards that really made us feel happy.The awards are at below:

After the Sub-District Forum,again,we had transferred back to Hotel for the preparations for the Banquet Dinner.During the banquet dinner,we captured a lot of photos,not only with the Leos from our school,and also with other Leos,Alpha Leos and even the waiter.

Besides knowing with other leos,our leos' relationship had became better after this beautiful night,and I am sure that we will have a better performance after this forum.

For our surprise,Leo Michelle Chew Kai En had been chosen as the Leo Member of the year and it really made us feel like over the moon!Hopefully these good results will be maintain at the next year.And finally total up we got 10 awards!

During the third day morning,incoming 1st VP Leo Desmond Lim Jian Bin,incoming Secretary Leo Tan Yong Xuan,incoming Treasurer Leo Lau Wun Qian and incoming Director Leo Khor Zhen Zhen had attend the Schools for Incoming Leo Key Officers.

After that,we had transferred to Sunshine Hall again for the closing ceremony,and fortunately we had captured a photo with Lion Dr Ben.



After the closing ceremony,we headed back to the hotel and pack our things.With that,the forum 2009 ended successfully.
